An XE Live director integrates presenter slides into your video in realtime. You have several options for how slides can be displayed.

The aspect ratio of your slides influences the layout on the screen. For side-by-side shots 4:3 (square) is best because it leaves more room for the presenter. For slides that go full screen 16:9 (widescreen) is best to use all of your screen space for providing information to viewers.

We provide a powerpoint template for widescreen slides to provide the best quality in fullscreen display of slides.

Video is distributed via a Dropbox in H.264 3000kbps format within 5 business days of your event.

Your video package also gives you the option of hosting video on one of our client pages at http://events.xelivebroadcast.com for video on-demand for no additional charge.

You receive video that corresponds to the structure of your agenda. Video of your event is divided at each break. If we start at 9am and your first coffee break is 10:30am, you’ll receive a video file that is 1.5h long for the first portion of your event. A post-production package can be purchased to trim to specific time codes or to segment specific presentations.

A director live-edits your event’s video taking the camera fullscreen or into the side-by-side template when slides are displayed. The more we can know about the event’s structure in advance, the better this will look. If you could send us an agenda noting which sessions use slides and which sessions should be fullscreen without slides, it will appear this way in the video.

We use a video system that pulls the presenter’s computer screen in realtime, as shown on the projector in the room. So if the presenter is showing slides, we’ll see those in the video, if the presenter cuts to a website or piece of software on their computer, we’ll see the cursor and the computer screen during this demo. Whatever appears on the room’s projector screen will show up in the video when we are using a side-by-side shot template.
